Pennsylvania National Guard members, and in some cases their families, are entitled to numerous education benefits and services, including the G.I. Bill, tuition assistance, college loan repayment, testing services, and the Military Family Education Program, or MFEP, a unique benefit to the Pennsylvania National Guard that allows family members of Pennsylvania National Guard members to attend college at no cost or at a reduced cost.

Education and Incentives Center

The Education and Incentives Center, Bldg. 9-54 at Fort Indiantown Gap, offers information regarding the use of education and incentive programs available to Pennsylvania National Guard members and their dependents with the goal of helping service members and their families obtain all the benefits they are entitled to. The office assists with education guidance counseling, education funding assistance (FTA, GI Bill, EAP, MFEP), incentives troubleshooting (Bonuses and loan repayment) and testing (ACFT, SIFT, FAA, Pearson Vue).

Testing

The Education Center at Fort Indiantown Gap offers Army Personnel Testing and proctored testing services every Wednesday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Please bring a 4187 and your CAC.

Examples of Army Personnel Testing Include (Click to access the corresponding DA Form 4187):

AFCT – Armed Forces Classification Test (ASVAB testing for SM’s already in the Guard, Reserves or Active Duty)

DLAB – Defense Language Aptitude Battery

DLPT – Defense Language Proficiency Test

ECL – English Comprehension Level Test
