You are invited to provide critical input to two efforts underway in your community.
The City of Dallas, the National Park Service (NPS), the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), and multiple external stakeholders and community groups are working collaboratively to gather public input to address needed improvements in the Love Field/Bachman Lake/Northwest Dallas area (see the map below).
Love Field Loop Trail Project: The NPS is working with the City of Dallas to create a concept plan for the Love Field Loop Trail (
https://www.dallas-lovefield.com/airport-info/airport-projects/love-field-loop-trail), which will identify a route around airport property, local neighborhoods, and public parks to connect residents to destinations and recreation options.
Bachman Lake Area Mobility Plan: The NCTCOG is leading a larger transportation and land use study of the Bachman Lake/Northwest Highway area, in collaboration with others, to look at improvements to increase safe walking facilities and access on major roadways, better connections to DART stations, multi-modal facilities, and other transportation and land use topics
This survey has been collaboratively developed to provide input to both of these planning efforts. The survey is 18 questions long and should take about 20 minutes to complete. Your responses to this survey will help determine the improvements to your community. Please forward this survey link on to your neighbors, colleagues, and anyone who has an interest in the future of the Love Field/Bachman Lake/Northwest Dallas area.
Thank you for your participation!
