THE OHIO SUICIDE PREVENTION FOUNDATION (OSPF), PREVENTION ACTION ALLIANCE (PAA), AND PREVENTION FIRST! invite you to the inaugural Ohio Coalition Institute Summit. 

This summit is open to all groups, coalitions, and community organizations that are working to prevent a community challenge like suicide prevention, gambling prevention, drugs and alcohol prevention, violence prevention or injury prevention.  This will be an interactive training focused on how your group can benefit from learning best practices for group engagement and coalition building and effecting community change. The summit will feature the launch of a funding opportunity for Coalition 101.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
  1. Feel energized, inspired, and motivated by the potential impact that community-based coalitions can have on creating healthier individuals and communities.
  2. Understand the value and importance of diverse community engagement in coalition work and how it can be harnessed to advance the coalition’s mission.
  3. Be fully aware of, and understand how to prepare for, their future participation in the upcoming launch of the Ohio Coalition Institute.
  4. Understand the importance of, and know how to utilize, community-based coalition best practices to build their coalition’s capacity and enhance their ability to implement meaningful prevention strategies.
World Café where people will be moving from table to table in a very interactive way to be engaged at the event not just passive listeners.
 
REGISTRATION FEE: $25.00  

Registration includes, beverages, lunch and CEU's, if required.

Refund requests will only be honored on or before June 16, 2023.
