This program coordinates free health and dental check-ups, head-to-toe physical exams, growth and development checks, vision and hearing tests, immunizations, TB tests, lab tests, nutrition information and health education for eligible children. It also provides dental and medical referrals, transportation information, and assistance in making appointments.
Who can use this service?
This service is available to the following candidates:
- All Medi-Cal recipients from birth to age 21
- Non-Medi-Cal youth from birth to age 19 years whose family income is equal to or less than 200 percent of the federal income guidelines
