Are you renting? Do you owe your landlord or utility company? Have you been impacted due to COVID-19?
Santo Domingo Tribal Housing Authority can assist you with the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
The primary applicant should be the signee on the lease agreement and/or utility invoice. All applicants should provide documentation as proof of need. Prioritization includes:
- At risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability
- The household has household income at or below 80% of the area median income of the house location
Open to all Santo Domingo Tribal Members regardless of place of residency in the United States. Also open to all New Mexico residents regardless of nationality.
One or more of the individuals within the household has qualified for unemployment benefits or experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship due, directly or indirectly, to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Emergency Rental Assistance program will assist with rental arrears, current rent payment, utility arrears, current utility payment.
