REGIONAL WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS, POSTDOCS, AND EARLY INVESTIGATORS INTERESTED IN SEXUAL & GENDER MINORITY HEALTH RESEARCH

WHO: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office (SGMRO) and the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing at Northwestern are pleased to invite you to participate in an upcoming Regional Workshop on Sexual and Gender Minority (SGM) Health Research. This workshop will be a pre-conference event for the National LGBTQ Health Conference.

WHAT: The goals of the Regional Workshop are to increase understanding of the NIH structure and processes, develop mentoring relationships within the extramural research community, enhance capacity to conduct SGM research, and provide researchers with the opportunity to interact with NIH staff, community members, and established researchers in SGM health.

WHEN: Thursday, July 28, 2022, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Reception and Networking: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Registration will close COB, July 15, 2022

VACCINATIONS: Vaccinations are required for attendance. If someone is not vaccinated, they must show the meeting
organizer proof of a negative test within 72 hours prior to the event.

MASKS: Masks are optional, please bring your own if you choose to wear one.
