News Release: Bear Camp Road open for public use Chip sealing scheduled & funded by Great American Outdoors Act Medford, Ore—The Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest road crew, with support from the Umpqua National Forest road crew, have removed the snow drifts from Bear Camp Road. In coordination with BLM-Medford District opening the Galice access road gates, Bear Camp Road is now open for public use and the recreation/rafting season. Upcoming work on Bear Camp Road in June: The Josephine County Roads Department will be chip sealing Bear Camp Road on the Josephine county side (from Burnt Ridge junction east to the junction of BLM road (MP 12.3). They plan on working the week of June 24th on chip sealing operations. There will be traffic delays up to 20 minutes during construction work. 🌡 Who's ready for warm weather? 🌡 This weekend (Fri-Sun) has the potential for warm temperatures, especially for westside valleys. But, lets not forget our coastal friends!
