Red Hills Lake is located a short distance from Toledo Bend Reservoir near Milam. The recreation area was built in 1940 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and offers camping, fishing, and swimming on a picturesque 19-acre lake

The recreation area is open from May 1 through October.

Outdoor showers, drinking water and vault toilet facilities are available.

Rowboats and small boats with electric motors are allowed on the lake.

All visitors must display a valid pass at day use fee sites where required. Please write down your confirmation number on a provided fee envelope onsite and display in vehicle dash. 

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. 

This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

There is no room for RVs due to limited space in the parking area.

All honored passes are displayed on the fee area bulletin board..

Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
