The Recovery Services We Promote

A key part of OWN’s mission is to connect women with, and further the improvement of, gender-specific treatment programs that will help them recover from substance abuse issues. Women face different struggles on their way to recovery than men do, and the best nonprofit treatment programs cater to their unique needs. Among the types of programs we work to enhance the integrity of are:

Who We Are

For more than 20 years, OWN has been providing leadership in the provision of substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation programming for women, with connected organizations offering services including mental health treatment and healthy pregnancies.

The organization is a group of service providers affiliated with, and funded in part by, the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS). Efforts made to aid in our sustainability, including the establishment of nonprofit status, allow us to apply for grants that could aid providers of women’s programming in Ohio.
