NTEU Celebrates Public Service Recognition Week

It’s Public Service Recognition Week, a time designated by Congress to show appreciation for the important contributions of government employees. NTEU joins the nation in thanking you for keeping our country running and thriving.

President Biden on Friday issued a proclamation honoring public servants and their many accomplishments for our country.

“Our Nation relies on our public servants every day, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect,” the proclamation reads.

He added, “my Administration is working to empower and strengthen the career Federal workforce more than ever before” including support of NTEU-led regulations providing further protection of employees’ workplace rights.

Chapter 40 Celebrates End of Tax-Filing Season with Pizza Party

Chapter 40 (IRS Oregon) hosted a pizza party and raffle to celebrate the end of the tax-filing season and thank members for their hard work. Many members brought along their families for the fun and food.
