Syntropic agriculture is a powerful form of regenerative agriculture that combines ancient Indigenous agroforestry systems with modern ecology and plant physiology science and works with natural systems to create fertile, resilient farms and gardens that produce nutrient-dense foods while repairing local ecosystems. Course subjects include soil ecology, ecological succession, forest ecology, regenerative agriculture principals, and ancient and modern agroforestry. We’ll design, prepare, and plant a small agroforest farm parcel, and learn what forms of maintenance can make an agroecosystem syntropic. Camping space available on site. Suggested donation $60-200.
