SOUTHINGTON — Rep. Chris Poulos announced a $5 million grant for the Southington Library Project has been secured from the State Bond Commission.
Poulos, a Democrat who represents Southington, said he has been advocating for months for this project. The State Bond Commission approved the funding at its meeting on Friday in Hartford. Town leaders in Southington can now take the necessary steps to incorporate the grant into the project’s budget.
