Maah Daah Hey Trail

The Maah Daah Hey Trail is a 144-mile non-motorized single-track through the Badlands of North Dakota.

The Maah Daah Hey Trail, which traverses through the Badlands and all three units of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, is at times rugged, challenging, yet also relaxing, and always amazing. There are 14 trailheads that provide direct access to the trail which is open year-round but it is best to check the weather before using the trail.

The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) has designated the hiking, biking and horseback riding trail as EPIC, meaning it’s one of the top mountain biking trails in the United States, and the Maah Daah Hey Trail System has also received a 2022 Bicycling Travel Award as Best Hidden Gem in the United States.

The Stable Cyclist
In the badlands of Western North Dakota, riders are pushed to their limits at the Maah Daah Hey 100, one of America’s most rugged ultra-endurance mountain bike races. In 2023, long-time pro and Go4Graham athlete Kelly Magelky returned in search of a fifth victory while local amateur Tyler Huber aimed to do something that no one had accomplished in over a decade: win the MDH100 as an amateur.
