Drew Barrymore is the type of person who tends to spread happiness wherever she goes. It is just in her nature; she is bubbly, kind, and caring. From the beginning, as a child actress to budding into an award-winning actress, model, and mother, she has it all going for her. She also has her own show, The Drew Barrymore Show. It's like the late night show in the day time for moms.

Barrymore has recently brought back what was lost for a little while –the art of the written letter. Recently, she read three letters on her show, and she encourages her audience to write in to her so she can read their letters on the show. It's a fun and exciting way to get involved in something other than work, home, and kids, and it gives us all something positive to do!

The segment "Dear Drew" starts off by Barrymore celebrating the 'Zip Code of the Day' which happens to be Fort Meyers, Florida. She shares a fun fact about the area before she goes on to open the letters.

The first letter is from a woman named Autumn from Waltonville, Illinois. Autumn writes introducing herself as well as her mother, Wendy, who is a mother-of-four and an essential worker for the United States Postal Service, which Barrymore found very appropriate given the times. Autumn goes on to write that she feels that she and Drew were "spirit sisters" and asked if Drew had any kind words for her mom, Wendy, as it was her birthday this week.

Drew answered by saying, "Well, Wendy, I love what you do, and thank you for delivering the mail because you deliver love every day. And necessities. So thank you, for everything you do. Go USPS. I love you!"

The second letter comes from a Niko in Los Angeles, California, which Drew notes is her old hometown. The writer said that when she was growing up everyone called her a Drew Barrymore lookalike, to which she also sent in a picture. And we have to say, the resemblance is pretty uncanny between the two. Drew got funny at the end and said that the two were the same person, and then screamed and threw the photos behind her.

The third and final letter that Drew read was from Raquel from Salem, Oregon, to which Barrymore states that she loves Oregon. Raquel said she loves that Drew is bringing back the written word. She thanks Drew for the positivity that she is spreading, and speaks about a medical bill that she has and how the times have been hard –she has been struggling to pay it. She thanks Barrymore for taking the time to read it. After Drew was finished with the letter, she told Raquel to not even stress about it, that she would pay her bill for her. In fact, she even said if others needed help, she would help them.

Write In!

Drew goes on to say that she enjoys reading everyone's letters and urges others to continue to send them in. If you would like to send a letter to her, you can send it to the address below, and maybe your letter might just get read on the show!
