ST. LOUIS – Drivers who regularly use the entrance ramp from southbound U. S. Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard) to westbound I-270 should be aware that the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close the ramp for three weeks beginning at 6 a.m., Monday June 20, weather permitting.
The closure will allow crews to build a new connection between the newly aligned southbound Lindbergh Boulevard and the westbound I-270 entrance ramp.
Detour routes are as follows:
The I-270 westbound on-ramp from southbound Lindbergh Boulevard and Taylor Road is closed. Drivers will detour to I-270 westbound via Dunn Road to Brown Road to James S McDonnell Boulevard.
Access from Taylor Road to southbound Lindbergh Boulevard is closed. Drivers will detour to Lindbergh Boulevard via Dunn Road to Brown Road to James S McDonnell Boulevard.
Access from Taylor Rd. to I-270 westbound is closed. Drivers will detour to I-270 westbound via Dunn Road to Brown Road to James S McDonnell Boulevard to I-270 westbound on-ramp
The closure and construction work are part of the $278 million I-270 North Project infrastructure upgrades.
