You're preparing for a job interview. How can you present yourself as the best candidate?
Be prepared for the interview. Know what the company and person is about, propose what you believe (ask if you've missed understood) are the challenges the company faces and explain and demonstrate how you are interested and capable in helping them as part of their team. Follow up is good, but if you don't come prepared follow up is just telling them that you had a nice time meeting them.

What are the most important skills to build a personal brand on social media?
And make sure everyone knows you. Not only what you can do, but that you are doing it for them. People want to know what you can do for them (capability), but they also want to know that you put them first. Had a conversation with an employee when we were in a tough spot - either going to get acquired or go bankrupt. My employee asked me - "I know you can't tell me what is going on, but you are looking out for us, right". I really appreciated his question and my response was direct - "I don't know how this is going to end, but I am working to make it work for us". He was grateful for the honesty. I was grateful that he asked. It ended well - we were acquired just before that cash would have ended and he is still the acquirer.

Mr. Derrick had two internship assignments with Texas Instruments Defense Electronics Group. The first was a 10 month assigment developing digital models and modeling methodology for several projects (government programs). The second was a shorter assignment, but developed analog macro models and a thermal noise modeling methodology for medium scale analog and RF components.
