Travel Update - Covid 19

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the terminal’s operation hours have been reduced.

Passenger terminal:
Sun-Thu: 08:30-15:30
Fri-Sat: Closed

Please make sure to arrive at the terminal about 30 minutes before closing time.

Cargo terminal:
Sun-Thu: 08:00-18:00
Fri-Sat: Closed

  • Before traveling, it is important to check and follow the Ministry of Health's latest guidelines for crossing Land Borders.

  • Pursuant to a decision by the Jordanian authorities, any passengers who wish to cross the Jordan River Border Crossing are subjected to the following requirements:
    1. Advance registration for passengers departing to Jordan:
    Advance registration is performed via the VISIT-JORDAN website. For a link – click here.
    2. COVID-19 test on arrival at Jordan:
    All passengers must present, at the Israeli terminal, a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test conducted up to 72 hours prior to crossing into Jordan.


    *A passenger returning to Israel
     must undergo a COVID-19 test at the Israeli terminal. The test incurs a fee of NIS 100. It is recommended to pay for the test in advance on the “Sheba – Target” website using a credit card, in order to reduce waiting times at the border crossing.

    It is also possible to pay for the test (by cash/credit card) at the branch of the financial operator that operates at the terminal (Milgam) with an added commission of NIS 6.
    Please keep the receipt and present it when returning to Israel in order to perform the test.

  • Any passenger arriving at the State of Israel must:
    1. Present a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test conducted up to 72 hours prior to the date of crossing at the terminal.
    2. Undergo an additional COVID-19 test at the Israeli terminal, at their own expense. The cost of this test is NIS 100 per person, and is performed by “Sheba – Target”. Payment is by credit card only.
    It is recommended to pay for the test and register via the website in advance, in order to reduce waiting times.

  • According to the resolution issued by the Ministry of Health, all passengers entering Israel
    are required to fill out an Entry Statement Form.
    Submit the statement within 48 hours before the scheduled travel time to Israel.
    Without the form, entering Israel will not be allowed.

  • Following the Israeli government’s decision, starting Wednesday, January 12, 2022, the policy on entry of foreign nationals into Israel has been updated as follows:

    • Entry will be permitted to vaccinated/recovered (according to the Ministry of Health’s definition) foreign nationals who are not required to have an entry visa into Israel, subject to their filling out an online form in advance, or taking a PCR test or supervised antigen test, taking a PCR test on entering Israel and then isolating for 24 hours or receiving a negative result of the test (whichever is earlier).
    • Non-vaccinated/non-recovered (according to the Ministry of Health’s definition) foreign nationals will not be permitted to enter Israel.

     

    Foreign nationals who do not comply with these terms will not be able to enter Israel, except those who obtain an exceptional entry permit from the Population and Immigration Authority. To contact the Exceptions Committee – click here.

    Entry Statement Form – You are required to fill out an Entry Statement Form in the 48 hours before you enter Israel, and to do so as soon as possible. For the Entry Statement Form  click here

    Once you complete filling out the form, you will receive a link to prepay for the PCR test you will take on entering Israel, in addition to the test taken before you entered Israel.
