They Served. We Remember.

A Powerful, Meaningful and Lasting Vision

The Howard County Veterans Foundation was established in 2016 to honor the men, women and families who have served our nation. Our vision was to build a monument in Downtown Columbia that recognizes and celebrates the profound commitment our Veterans and military families make to our country and community. Today, this vision is taking shape. We invite you to join us in our mission.

Fundraising goal

“Servicemembers and their families have paid a price to support those who they don’t know. They have signed on the dotted line and invested in each one of us and devoted their lives for our safety and health, whether that’s overseas or here. Supporting the building of the monument is a way for us all to honor their investment by reinvesting in honoring them.”
