Mental Health Survey helps determine what services should be offered

We have all been through the wringer the last couple of years and local mental health officials want us to prioritize our mental health.

Mental Health Survey helps determine what services should be offered

The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties is asking individuals to take a quick survey to help them prioritize what the mental health needs are in the community. They say 1 in 4 people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime and they don’t have to go through it alone.

Ada Ellerbrock is an advocate for Mental Health and recovery and adds, “There’s individualized screenings. There’s also a whole entire mental health screening and that lets the mental health board know, hey there’s some things that are going on in our community. When we need to get some word out whether it’s gambling, anxiety, depression, they can help with that. But they don’t know unless there’s some information out there from the individuals that are suffering with it.”

They are also encouraging everyone to be seen in green during the month of May in support of Mental Health Awareness month. You can see those surveys at https://screening.mentalhealthscreening.org/mhrsb.
