Mpox Vaccination

Protect Yourself – Get the Mpox Vaccine

The JYNNEOS vaccine is a two-dose vaccine series that works to prevent mpox.

The vaccine is free and available regardless of immigration status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

For best protection, receive two doses of the mpox vaccine 28 days apart. The mpox vaccine is fully effective two weeks after the second dose.

If you are exposed to mpox and haven't been vaccinated yet, you can still reduce your risk of infection by getting vaccinated within four (4) days of exposure, and reduce your symptoms if you get the vaccine within 14 days of exposure if you get mpox.
