#FeedTheNeedBayArea Gives Back

My name is Alex Hult and I am the owner of Flights Restaurant Group! Back in March 2020 when the pandemic started I was fortunate enough to receive the Los Gatos community's support when I rolled out #FeedTheNeedBayArea a fund raising effort to help the struggling restaurant workers, elderly and the health care workers. Remembering back to the first day of our "No Touch Drive Through Market" when we started seeing the cars line up and we knew our idea had worked is still a humbling feeling. I remember the joy of all the volunteers, workers and people we got to help like it was yesterday.
I been very blessed through this pandemic with incredibly community support and partnerships and opportunities that have come my way through this crazy journey navigating a pandemic as a business leader and entrepreneur.
A few weeks ago I launched IMMERSIVE Nightlife, a unique business venture as we purchased and remodeled the old Mt Charleys. Every night at IMMERSIVE it starts out with a theatrical dinner show (from 7pm-9pm) featuring the most talented variety cirque performers the bay area has to offer. After the dinner show the DJ comes on and we dance the night away with cirque performers doing pop-up shows every 30min. Our slogan "Expect the Unexpected" says it all. We just released our holiday show called "HOLIDAZE" which is a whimsical spectacle of joy celebrating the season. www.immersivenightlife.com
Earlier this year one of my biggest role models reached out to me and asked me to be a partner in rebranding and transforming the old Silver Creek Sportsplex into "The Plex", the ultimate event and sports facility in the bay area with 240,000 sqft of nothing but fun. At "The Plex" we are opening Flights, Sushi Confidential and our own pizza concept as well as four state of the art bocce courts, an arcade, cornhole and of course a Kids Corner for the young ones (jumpy world, rock climbing, supervised activities)
I could not be more grateful for the position I am in right now and I feel like its time to give back. Me and my team have donated a "PLEXGIVESBACK" pass to the first 500 families of restaurant employees or nurses that signs up.
"PLEXGIVESBACK" pass includes ALL of the following:
-free flight or sushi roll
-free one hour bocce
-free admission to “Kids Corner” for 2 kids $40 value
-$10 arcade card
-$10 beer wall card
-free roller skating
To a value of $150 per family
For every $150 we raise on this gofundme, one more family in need gets a "PLEXGIVESBACK" pass!
This is less about helping people in need and more about showing how thankful we are to the nurses that's been fighting in the hospitals under crazy conditions as well as for the hard working restaurant workers that have been on that cooking line in masks and gloves so that we all get to eat. From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you to all my friends, my family, my amazing employees that have fought through this war with me and to the amazing community of Los Gatos that really had my back during a difficulty time.
