Reportable Diseases Frequency Report   help link
The frequency report below is based on reportable disease information received by the Florida Department of Health as mandated under Section 381.0031, Florida Statutes, and Rule 64D-3.029, Florida Administrative Code. Depending on report criteria, counts include confirmed and/or probable cases that have occurred in Florida among Florida residents. This report does not include cases of AIDS, HIV infection, sexually transmitted diseases, or tuberculosis. Also, if there are no cases for your selection, you will see an empty grid.

Numbers displayed are preliminary and will fluctuate up or down over time as case reports undergo further investigation and validation. An initial case classification can switch to another after further investigation; for example, an initial probable case classification could switch to a confirmed case or not a case depending on laboratory, investigation, or medical results. Common diseases where change in initial case classification is seen include, but are not limited to, measles, rubella, salmonella, and varicella.
