What is the FM QSMO Marketplace Catalog and how can it help me and my agency?
The FM QSMO (Financial Management Quality Service Management Office) Marketplace Catalog is a resource for agencies to explore, identify, and research solutions and services that can help support financial management needs and accomplish shared government-wide goals.
Through the technology, advisory, and operational services offered, there is choice and flexibility for agencies planning financial system modernizations, sustaining current operations, and/or fulfilling a variety of other financial management needs.
Commercial and federal providers play important roles in the FM QSMO Marketplace. The Marketplace Catalog also features products and services provided by the Bureau of the Fiscal Service with a focus on value-added services that help promote efficiency, streamline processes, and support expansion of electronic alternatives.
Which offering is right for me and my agency?
- My agency is planning a future financial management system modernization or looking to support our current core financial system because we have contracts that are expiring. We are looking to acquire either a software suite in a cloud environment, solutions that will augment our current core financial system, services that will help us prepare for a major change or migration, or support services for our current system (e.g., O&M). Vendor offerings are available through the GSA Schedules Program, FM QSMO Core Financial Management (FM) Solutions and IT Professional Services SIN 518210FM.
- My agency is looking for a federal provider to help us with transaction processing, financial reporting and other financial management services to ensure that we comply with regulations and financial management policies and guidance. We don’t have the resources to maintain our own financial system and we’d like to be part of a model where we can rely on expertise and experience, and share costs with other customers.
- My agency is looking for information on how the programs and services offered by Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service can help us move toward a more electronic environment, streamline processes and improve data quality and decision-making. We may already use Treasury to disburse payments and collect monies owed but we’d like to learn about how we can introduce more modern, efficient options for our citizen and other customers.
