The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that starting May 1, 2024, hospitals will no longer be required to report COVID-19 hospital admissions through the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). Due to these changes in hospitalization reporting, the Fairfax Health District COVID-19 Severity Measures Dashboard (this dashboard) has been discontinued.
COVID-19 vaccination data will continue to be available on our COVID-19 Vaccine Data Dashboard and we continue to monitor COVID-19 disease in our community through other methods including emergency care visits and outbreak reporting. You can also view COVID-19 trends for Fairfax Health District by visiting the Virginia Department of Health COVID-19 Dashboard which includes data on emergency care visits, deaths, and wastewater surveillance.
