Decarbonizing the industrial sector is critical to addressing the climate crisis, but market adoption of emerging technologies is often impeded due to a lack of credible demonstration projects to validate costs and effectiveness. DOE’s Industrial Technology Validation (ITV) pilot can mitigate these risks in part with reliable information from robust field demonstrations and independent measurement and verification (M&V). By providing the research and data necessary to validate technology claims, field validations help shepherd innovative technologies out of R&D (“Technology Valley of Death”) to break through into the commercial market to help propel the nation towards our carbon reduction goals.
Please join us on April 20th for an informational webinar on DOE’s Industrial Technology Validation (ITV) pilot!
During this webinar, we will cover details about the pilot, how to participate, and answer any questions about the pilot or submitting a response to the open application.
This webinar is free to attend and will be recorded for attendees to view later. If you have any questions about the event, please email us at: ITV-Support@lbl.gov.
