Who is eligible?

Legal parents or guardians who live in Summit County and have a household income of 200% at or below the federal poverty level and who are sending their child/ren to youth activity and want to be reimbursed for out of pocket costs.

How do I apply?

A legal parent or guardian that would like to apply for The Youth Reimbursement program will need to fill out the Legal Parent/Guardian Application. Please allow up to five business days to process your application. 

What will the youth reimbursement program pay for? 

The program will pay for out of pocket fees for children ages 3-18. This includes weekly costs, registration fees, and co-pays. Activity fees we are able to cover include drama/music activities, band camp, sports with fees, after-school clubs and activities, pay-to-play activities, materials fees, and any other fees associated with youth activities. 

How long will the reimbursement take to arrive? 

Once your application has been approved and all required paperwork has been submitted, you can expect the reimbursement payment in the mail. The check can take up to 60 days to be delivered. 

How will I receive the youth reimbursement check? 

All youth reimbursement checks will be processed and sent using the USPS. We will send the check to the legal parent or guardian listed on the application. 

My application would not submit. What should I do?

If you are having trouble submitting the application, please make sure that all required fields have been answered. If you still encounter issues, try using a different browser.

Does my reimbursement check have to be mailed?

Your reimbursement check can be held prior to mailing if requested. You must email  to set up a pick up time. At pick up you must bring your government-issued ID.  wcharles@ecresourcecenter.org
