Durham Book Club isn't your typical reading program - it's a year-round effort led entirely by middle school students.

It’s time for our annual virtual scavenger hunt!!
It's May 2024, and Durham has become the galaxy within Children of Stardust by Edudzi Adodo. Eleven Kobastickers are hiding around Durham, within the websites of local organizations.
Your mission: work with with a group of friends (or on your own) to solve each riddle.
Go to each business’s website and locate the Kobasticker.
Send us what you find to win a prize!
Announcing... DBCtalks
Every fall, we select four titles for Durham middle school students to read together during the summer. Our selection process is super fun, but it's also REALLY hard. There are thousands of amazing books we want to read, hundreds we could recommend to our friends, and so many incredible authors we want to meet.
This podcast is our chance to share our book recommendations with you, but we'll also talk to authors, librarians, students, and other community members about books, reading, and writing. We hope you'll want to share this experience with us!
