Building partnerships is focal point of San Bernardino Policy Forum

Experts in the child care and early education space will join for a panel discussion on the most critical issues affecting families in San Bernardino County. Registration is now open for the event, which takes place Friday, March 24 at California State University San Bernardino. A virtual option is also available.

“CCRC is excited to bring both state and county leaders, policy makers, and child and family service organizations together, to discuss collective opportunities to better serve the children and families of San Bernardino County,” said CCRC San Bernardino Regional Director James Moses.

This year marks our 10th year serving San Bernardino County families, child care providers, and the community. Now, we’re offering this premier event for motivating discussions around early learning and child care issues. Local, state and national speakers will cover hot button issues and answers questions.

Attendees will join early education leaders and child care advocates to discuss the importance of building partnerships among county and statewide services and programs designed to strengthen children and families. Confirmed panelists include:

  • Eloise Gomez Reyes, CA State Assemblywoman
  • Jennifer Carter, Executive Director at Oaktree Learning Center
  • Sarah Neville-Morgan, CA Dept. of Education Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction
  • Heather Smith, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Director of Early Education and Development

The forum will take place from 8:30am- 10:30am. In person seating is limited, so register today to reserve your seat.
