Panelists:

Nicholas Hackett is an associate professor of biology and has taught microbiology at Moraine Valley Community College for 18 years.  He switched to an OER textbook years ago with great results.  Professor Hackett is also involved with non-majors biology curriculum and STEM outreach programs at the college.

Jeanne Petrolle

Jeanne Petrolle is Associate Professor and Interim Chair of the Department of English and Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago. She is author of Women and Experimental Filmmaking, Religion without Belief, and Dancing with Ophelia, and a range of scholarly articles and essays. Her research focuses on religion and literature. She has taught literature and writing for over twenty-five years at Columbia College Chicago.

Avatar for Professor Joel QuamProfessor Joel Quam is the chair and the longest tenured faculty member in the Geography Department at College of DuPage. Along with his colleague Scott Campbell, they wrote two OER textbooks for use in their classes.
