SOUTHINGTON — State and town leaders congratulated Dawn Dickau, paraeducator at DePaolo Middle School, for receiving the state Anne Marie Murphy Paraeducator of the Year Award.
A recognition was held at DePaolo Middle School on Friday where Dickau was congratulated by Gov. Ned Lamont, Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, Education Commissioner Charlene Russell-Tucker, local legislators Rep. Chris Poulos and Rep. Francis Rexford Cooley, Superintendent of Schools Steve Madancy and members of the local Town Council and Board of Education.
