ASLA: Assessment Tool
The ASL Education Center is the sole source provider of ASLA (American Sign Language Assessment), a computer-based standardized language arts assessment of 10 domains of ASL vocabulary and grammar designed for PreK-12 students aged 4 - 21. Test-takers easily log in, independently view ASL instructions, and respond to multiple-choice test items. ASLA has also been used in research with adult participants. ASLA scores are shown to be valid and reliable, and test results can be compared across schools, districts, and states from year to year.
