Welcome to Apex Dance and Performing Arts Center, serving the greater Dallas DFW Texas area. We offer dance classes from ages 2 up to adults, specializing in Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, combo classes (Tap/Ballet) and much more.

We are available for birthday parties, private lessons, artist development and many other performance and choreography needs.

For over 25 years Donna has been teaching dance and has built a reputation of being a loving, energetic, positive dance instructor that will bring out the best in your child’s ability.

Donna is committed to serving God first, and because of her love for God she has a real love for people, especially children. Donna is committed to developing her students to their full potential in a supportive atmosphere. Her goal is to offer quality training in a caring environment with smaller class sizes to ensure more personal attention. With Donna, every child counts. She works to bring positive results to the lives of her students while training and developing lovely and talented dancers.

Donna has extensive experience not only as a dancer but as a choreographer and performer as well. Donna and her staff will ensure TOP dance education for your child.

Donna began her dance career on the Central Coast of California at Pat Jackson’s American Dance Studios, home of the award-winning and working dance professional American Dancers, where she later became an instructor and Director of a performance group there at the age of 19.

Upon moving to Southern California she choreographed for recording artists signed to Atlantic Records, RCA, Mercury, and Capitol Records, in addition to many unsigned acts in development. She has toured/opened for concerts and/or worked with such artists as Stevie Wonder, India Arie, Brian McKnight, Erykah Badu, Kelis, Ice Cube, NWA, and the list goes on. She has been featured in videos, TV shows, a national Coca-Cola commercial and appeared on MTV2, MTV, BET and VH1 sponsored shows, and was a regular on Soul Train.

Donna has taught for elite Dance Studios in the Dallas Metroplex and is now a studio/dance owner and award-winning choreographer. Donna has obtained Diamond, Platinum, Gold and First Place Overall awards as Choreographer for her dancers/dances from competitions such as 24Seven, StarQuest, Showbiz, I Love Dance, and more.

Donna has worked as choreographer on three previous Junior Player Productions and was pleased to work with such a wonderful cast and amazing production team in "The Wild Party."
