We understand that at times of heightened tension in our community, many people may be experiencing elevated levels of stress, anger, hurt, frustration, and more. Mental health is incredibly important, and our community has many excellent resources available for those in need. There are also many national hotlines and resources. The below is just a short list. Asian Services in Action (ASIA) provides culturally and linguistically centered social and health services to support all Northeast Ohio communities, especially the Asian American, Pacific Islander, immigrant, and refugee populations. The multilingual staff at ASIA's International Community Health Center (ICHC) offers services on a sliding fee scale including psychiatric and medication treatment, behavioral health counseling, counseling and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for alcohol and substance use, referral to social services, and patient education and outreach.
