Siting and Permitting Conference 2024 Call for Proposals

Welcome to the ACP Siting and Permitting Conference 2024 Proposal Submission Portal. We are now accepting submissions for speaking and poster presentation opportunities at the Siting and Permitting Conference 2024. Selected speaking applicants can expect to be placed on a panel alongside other leading experts with related proposals.

Log in below to begin your application to be considered for a presentation as part of the conference.

Submission deadline is January 5, 2024 at 11:59PM Eastern; applicants will be notified via email whether or not their proposal was selected by mid to late January.

ACP's Proposal Submission Policy:

1. All proposals must be submitted electronically through ACP’s submission website. No submissions will be accepted via email or other means.

2. All obvious commercial sales pitches will not be accepted for a presentation. Speakers who make commercial sales pitches will be banned from future ACP engagements.

3. Proposals must be well-organized and clearly describe their relevance to the industry and how the information presented could be applied or used in practice. Applicants are encouraged to use case studies, offer solutions, and include specifics.

4. Proposals should contain new perspectives or data and not have been presented previously.

5. More than one proposal may be submitted by an author and/or company.

6. Please ensure you move all the way through the entire submission process, complete all tasks, and click Submit at the end, ensuring you receive a submission confirmation email. Incomplete submissions are not eligible for review.

7. Once speaker invitations have been sent in mid to late January, invited speakers will have 7–10 days to accept their speaking slot or forfeit. Please note that speaking slots are limited and some proposals may be offered a poster presentation opportunity. Not all proposals will be accepted.

8. Deadlines are firm; late submissions will not be accepted.

Additional Notes:

  • The program committee will take a variety of factors into consideration when selecting speakers including diversity of backgrounds and perspectives and company representation. ACP members will be preferred over non-member presentations. For inquiries on membership, please contact ACP's Membership team, membership@cleanpower.org. For sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, please contact exhibition@cleanpower.org
  • Selected speakers will be required to register for the conference at a significantly discounted rate. ACP is a non-profit and this helps the organization cover some basic conference costs. Revenue from ACP events goes back to the industry through ACP’s efforts to grow the U.S. clean power industry and support clean energy professionals.
