Presenters

Ellie He is a Washington SBDC certified business advisor and a NASBITE certified global business professional. She has a diverse background with experience in both the public and private sectors and with both small businesses and large corporations, including seven years on the global business development team of K&L Gates. Ellie holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Allan Peterson is the Certified Business Advisor and Certified Global Business Professional. Allan is the founder of the Artisan Craft Distilling Institute. This business operated both domestically and internationally. He initiated and led outbound trade missions to South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, and China. This benefited mostly rural value-add agriculture companies. Allan has over 26 years of management experience and he received his BSBA degree in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota.

Christy Mastin is the newest member of the Washington SBDC International Trade team. Christy held an International Sales position for a hay company in Washington before coming to the SBDC in November of 2022. Christy was a lending officer for about 16 years in various areas of Washington and Idaho working mostly with agricultural financing. She has an MBA.

 

Washington SBDC International Trade Business Advisors participate as working members of the Washington Export Outreach Team (WEOT), a collaborative team of local, state, regional, and federal export assistance agencies that provide Washington state companies with tools and resources to help them export.

Registration Policies for Workshops:

Registration and Fees (IF ANY): Payment of seminar fees may be made by check or money order. No credit card information can be accepted by email, fax, over the phone or at the event. Payment must be received to guarantee your space in an event.

Refund Policy: If you wish to request a refund, please contact the conference organizer listed above. Refunds of 90% can be issued if canceled at least 5 days in advance. You may also elect to send a substitute in your place. If the event is canceled, all fees will be returned.

Photographs: Photos taken during training may be used by SBDC for promotional purposes. Please inform the SBDC personnel onsite OR email training@wsbdc.org with the class information to request photos that include you not be publicized.
