If we are already a SG Tribe, how do we get our transportation under SG?

I'm not clear - what office is responsible for administering USDOT funding through a self-governance agreement?

How is the work going to coordinate the various agencies in the DOT in the new Tribal Self-Governance Program in the negotiating process so far (ie. Cherokee's)?

Has any tribe negotiated a compact/funding agreement that exempts their tribal transit program from reporting in TrAMS?

How long does it take to negotiate a compact?

Is forward funding, once the negotiations are completed/signed, will forward funding of the programs take place, if so how long will it take to get the forward funding to the Tribe?

Would we still submit our TTIP to BIA?

Would the Federal self governance pass down to States? Then the State DOT would/could negotiate with Tribes for FTA funds that allocated to States, then passed through to Tribes.

What reporting if any would need to be done to USDOT? Financials and project expenditures.
