Surface Deformation and Change (SDC) Science and Applications Traceability Matrix (SATM) Feedback Form
Thank you for viewing the Phase 1 SATM for the SDC study.

SDC’s Phase 1 SATM is a version of the 2017 Decadal Survey II (DS) SATM. Starting from the DS’s Most Important, Very Important, and Important Science and Application Objectives for SDC, the relevant Geophysical Observables provided were expanded, fundamentally with the purpose to evaluate the value of adding amplitude-based measurements. The corresponding measurement parameters were refined & nuanced through community in-person and virtual workshops, surveys and polls, and incorporating the work of SDC’s discipline-themed focus groups - Hydrology, Cryosphere, Ecosystems, Solid Earth, and Geohazards. The SDC Phase 1 SATM reflects and distills the community’s input.

If you have comments you would like to provide to the SDC Study Team on the Phase 1 SATM, please populate and submit this form for the SDC Study Team to review. We thank you for your feedback.

Please enter the feedback that you'd like to provide to the SDC study team below. Please 1) indicate the page number that your feedback directly relates to, 2) state your feedback, and 3) then move to a new line for additional feedback related to different geophysical observables, repeating the process outlined above, to facilitate our review of your feedback. For general feedback on the SATM, please indicate "general feedback" prior to stating your feedback. Thank you! *
