On March 23 and 24, members of our Hispanic Origin and Latino American (HOLA) employee resource group volunteered with the Charleston Hispanic Association during International Consulate Days. Our colleagues provided translations, assisted the elderly, and directed thousands of Spanish speaking residents of South Carolina to nine consulates and a health fair on site. Kudos to the team for spending their weekend helping residents receive much needed services.

Year of the Dragon for our Zhuhai, China, facility started with team members collaborating on methods to strengthen team cohesion and engagement while successfully exploring plant targets, safety metrics, and DEIB. Team members completed discussions feeling confident about the year ahead and even achieved four years without a recordable injury during the first quarter of this year. Congratulations, Zhuhai!

Safety is always top of mind at Ingevity as we look for ways to drive our safety culture further. Our Wickliffe, Kentucky, facility spent several days in April developing first steps toward an improved behavior driven safety process. After enlightening participation from our focus groups, we're looking forward to implementing this process at all U.S. based sites this year.
