Acoma Sky City

Acoma Pueblo “Sky City" is situated atop a 367-foot-high sandstone mesa and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in North America. This pueblo dates back to at least the 11th century, though the Acoma people believe it to have been inhabited 1,000 years prior to that. For many, it is the most remarkable destination in New Mexico, both geographically and culturally. The Sky City Cultural Center & Haak'u Museum, completed in 2006, features a cafe, exhibits, gift shop, and more.
