The South Carolina State Library will host an in-person ceremony for the winners of the 2023 Notable State Documents Awards Program. We are located at 1500 Senate Street, Columbia, SC, 29201. Awardees and other state government staff members are invited to register to attend the ceremony. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email stating the date and time of the event.

The Notable State Documents Awards Program began in 1991 to recognize exemplary state publications. Presented annually by the South Carolina State Documents Depository System, the awards recognize notable documents that were released in the previous calendar year. State agency publications received by the State Library qualify to be nominated by depository librarians, State Library staff, or state agency employees. Agency websites and apps also qualify as nominees. 

Parking Information: Attendees may use either street parking meters or the USC Pendleton parking garage. Parking meters are located in front of the library and on side streets. Pendleton garage is located between Bull and Pickens Streets and has two-hour and five-hour meters on the lower level. Enter from Pickens Street at the entrance marked "University of South Carolina Visitor Meters."
