Flood Simulations & Games

See what happens when water takes the wheel in this virtual reality experience of a flash flood in Las Vegas from the driver's perspective. Optimized for Google Cardboard.

This virtual reality experience can be used for outreach events and captivates audiences of all ages!

If you have any questions or would like to request a USB copy of the virtual reality experience, please contact Erin Neff at ENeff@regionalflood.org.

This is an easy and inexpensive option. Virtual Reality Glasses require a cell phone to play the Youtube 360 video to run the simulation.

This is more expensive, but allows for a higher quality simulation. Requires the VR video file and a laptop to run the simulation.

Flood Fighter is a fun educational game that places you in the shoes of a newly hired water management engineer, who must create a flood management system for multiple locations. After reviewing each location's data, you will need to determine the best type of levees to place along the river and hire a team with a budget. Your flood management system will then be put to the test through a weather event.

Flood Challenge is an interactive set of games that allows children to plan, pack, and protect in case of a flood emergency . The games include creating a flood plan by collecting informational papers into a flood plan binder, packing items into an emergency bag and a tetris game that uses sandbags to help stop flooding .
