I am an associate professor in the economics department at Williams College.  My CV. 

I focus on macroeconomics and financial theory.  My research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, the Review of Economic Dynamics, and the Economic Journal, among others. 

I primarily study how characteristics of financial markets affect the broader economy.  Much of my works considers the appropriate monetary and regulatory policy responses to pursue financial stability.
