Cash Flow Management

Many business owners would like to be more confident with their numbers. However, they are often disconnected and confused when it comes to their accounting reports. You are likely familiar with your Profit & Loss Statement, but which one should you use (Accrual, Cash, % of Revenue, etc)? Besides, Net Profit is different from cash flow. How can a business owner confidently know how much money to set aside for taxes and earn a comparable salary? How can you glean this information from a P&L? Secondly, most business owners seldom look at their balance sheet. Did you know there are a few easy-to-calculate ratios on your balance sheet that can give you insights into the health of your company and future working capital needs? Most importantly, what about a Budget Variance Report? This is the foundational financial report to track your actual results versus your plan. Lastly, where does your bank balance, A/R and A/P report fit in? All these reports can be overwhelming. Don’t worry, help is on the way. During the Financial Reports that Matter Workshop, you’ll learn how to create and use the 3 Key reports from your accounting system to manage your company on a monthly basis. You will experience better cash flow and profitability when you become more confident with your numbers. Presenter, Patrick Shurney, 3P Consulting
