How to Fix Microsoft Teams Won’t Connect or Unable to Join Meetings

To help you fix this connectivity issue with Microsoft Teams, you can try each of the methods below one at a time.

Method #1 – Restart Your Microsoft Teams App

Your Microsoft Teams app on your computer may need a quick restart to fix the error. Look for the Microsoft Teams icon on your Windows 10 taskbar or macOS dock. Right-click on the icon and select Quit. Now, click the app again to launch it.

Method #2 – Power Cycle Your Device

It may be a problem with your network. Power cycling your devices will refresh your connection.

  • Close the Microsoft Teams app and turn off your computer.
  • Unplug your modem and router.
  • Wait for at least 1 minute before plugging them back in.
