Winter Weather Advisory Begins Tonight
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Fairfax County from 9 p.m. tonight, Jan. 6, through 5 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 7. Another 3 to 4 inches of snow is expected to fall overnight on top of the accumulated snow from earlier this week.

The Friday morning commute will likely be impacted, and drivers should plan on slippery road conditions. Stay off the roads if possible, but if you do need to travel, allow for additional time and be extra cautious and alert while driving.
