Traffic Calming Regulations Public Comment Period

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) is accepting public comments on the regulations for Traffic Calming beginning on Friday, February 4, 2022.

The proposed Traffic Calming regulations define certain terms, update the applicant petitioning process, provide a simple request process through the Baltimore City 311 System, replace the petitioning process with an opt-out postcard system, and incorporate a new data collection and prioritization system.

The public comment period for this regulation will be open until March 7, 2022.

Due to the protocols in place by the City of Baltimore for COVID-19, not all Department of Transportation offices are open to ensure the safety of BCDOT staff and the public.
