Housing Equity Advisory Team

As part of the Attainable Housing Strategies Initiative, we created an external advisory team called the Housing Equity Advisory Team, or HEAT. The HEAT consists of county stakeholders that approach this issue from different perspectives. It includes developers (both for-profit and non-profit), a realtor, civic activists, housing activists, an economist and someone from the banking industry. While the HEAT will not be asked to come to a consensus or to make recommendations to the Planning Board, we are hopeful that the group will provide Planning staff with an understanding of their different perspectives and knowledge about housing policy.
