CTDOL is urging residents to be aware of a new text scam. Criminals are texting residents and telling them to click on fraudulent links to fix or update issues in their unemployment claim. These texts are fraud and not coming from CTDOL. The agency recommends that all unemployment filers, CTHires users, and job seekers stay vigilant about this and other scams targeting residents. CTDOL does not text unemployment claimants and will not text for account updates or to notify filers of a problem. 

Each month, CTDOL releases new jobs numbers and market information.
