The Department of Planning is hosting a public meeting to discuss a proposed change to Title 12: Special Purpose Districts of the zoning code. The addition would be a C-2 Entertainment Overlay District that would allow, under certain conditions, live entertainment as a stand-alone use. Currently, in the C-2 zoning category, live entertainment can be utilized as an accessory use, but not on its own.
