PHLConnectED is an initiative to help pre-K–12 families access free or low-cost internet. The City’s Digital Navigators can help families:

  • Explore options for free or low-cost internet, including PHLConnectED T-Mobile hotspots.
  • Access and use technology.
  • Find digital skills classes and other resources.

For help, dial 211 and set an appointment with a Digital Navigator. The hotline operates 24/7 and is available in 150 languages. For language services, press 8.

Eligibility

PHLConnectED serves households in need who have a pre-K–12 student enrolled in a Philadelphia school. Your household may qualify if:

  • You don’t have (or can’t get) wired, in-home internet access, or you can only access the internet through a mobile phone.
  • Your household is experiencing homelessness or is in between housing.
  • Your household participates in certain public benefit programs with income qualifications.
  • Your household includes a student who is an English learner or who is receiving special education services.
